I made this offering for families that don't want a whole year to go by before they take family photos again. For those that don't want to miss the documenting yet another year in their families life. For those that want more than just a rushed photo shoot in the fall.
I know you take a million photos on your phone. But how often are these photos actually getting printed out? A lot of the photos we take on our phones are a mere documentation of a moment, a cute outfit, or a place. What we will make together will be more than that. It will be an artful representation of the way your family breathes, moves and plays in the world. When you look at them they'll make you feel something.
The intention is not just that we made them but that they continue to be experienced in your home. For this reason each of the four sessions comes with a fine art print. At the end of our year together you'll also get to design an album from all the four sessions combined.

Each season has it's own feeling. In the first couple months of 2025 we will start with an in-home session. Children feel most comfortable at home so this is an ideal place to start our year together.
In Spring, Summer and Fall we will choose locations for their natural beauty, sense of adventure and meaning to your family. I have a list of places I love as well. Picking locations is usually an easy back and forth between us!

I have been photographing families in San Francisco for over ten years now. A lot goes into making photos that look and feel like you. I start with the best locations. Then I send you my best tips and tricks to prepare to be in front of my camera. On the day we show up and play!
For my Full Circle families I don't put a limit on the time our session takes. If we've made great photos and the kids are feeling done then we stop. If they take awhile to warm up and we need to go a bit longer than expected then we do! Usually sessions are one to two hours.

Rather than needing to warm up to a new person your kids will get comfy with me allowing their natural personalities and playfullness to shine through. They'll be excited for another adventure with their new friend Julia! This may sound trivial but this is the difference between stiff photos with uncooperative kids and photos that look and feel like your family.

There is a special relationship that develops, when your photographer has been with you from the beginning. There is a deeper connection, an understanding, between you both that is difficult to explain, but so very very significant to the entire process. I trust that my children know Julia well enough to give her genuine smiles and authentic expressions; I trust that I don’t have to explain anything about my body and my hopes and dreams to Julia, because she already knows. What if my child doesn't want to participate?
One of the benefits of a year long relationship is that we will all be more comfortable with each other that usually we can just show up and start playing. If your child is more reserved, no worries. What we are after is their true personality. There is usually a natural end to each session.
How do we schedule our sessions?
I know you are busy. Rather than something to add to business our sessions should feel like a great family date. You'll get scheduling requests from me where you can pick the best time for you. If we need to alter it for light at your desired location I'll suggest that.
I never manage to print out photos. Can you help?
We'd like to keep our images private, is that possible?
After each session you'll receive a credit for a fine art print. At the end of the year you'll receive your credit to create your album. I review everything before it is sent to my lab. I'm also happy to help you choose and design your album.
We retain the rights to all the images however you will have the option to purchase the copyrights for your Full Circle Package for $600. As photographers it is essential to be able to use photos for marketing purposes. The copyright fee helps cover the cost for alternative marketing costs.
