Hey, I'm Julia. I'm not here to get you a quick smiling shot to slap on a card and forget about. I'm here to make images you'll actually want to hang on your wall, the ones that stop you mid-hallway years from now.
I created these mini sessions for families who want real artwork but aren't sure they can make it through a long photoshoot! This isn't just a session where we will painstakingly try to get your kids to cooperate or smile at the camera. I get silly and creative, engaging everyone in the family in order for their true personalities and connections to shine through.

Perfect if 20 minutes feels like all your kiddos will give you. We'll move fast and stay focused on a few real moments together.
Your session includes:
10 edited images, in a mix of color and black and white, yours to print, share and save how you please. Option to print using my lab.
Want the rest of your gallery? You can unlock full print and sharing rights to your complete session for an additional $300.

Perfect if your kids need more time to warm up, and for those who know my sessions are fun and a little more time to play is going to make some beautiful art. We'll have time to slow down, explore the location, and capture the full range of your family's personality.

I have been photographing families for over ten years now. A lot goes into making one stunning photo to print out and frame. I start with the best locations. Then I send you my best tips and tricks to prepare to be in front of my camera. On the day we show up and play! I'll be directing you into the best light and giving you little prompts that will help us make real and stunning images.
THE PROCESS
This is about making something special to hang on your walls and fill your hearts. I'll be your guide in making something emotive and special that could only be your family.

This whole shoot is just so much better than I could’ve hoped for (and this coming from a recovering perfectionist with impossible standards!) There was plenty of dysfunction that day just like every day, and yet only the good and the beautiful remains. Eternally grateful.

What if my child doesn't want to participate?
Your child can do no wrong! I will remind you of this beforehand and throughout our session. I will be prompting you to embrace whatever comes. That's how we get photos that are real and show your true connection.
What if we are sick? It rains?
If your child is sick and it's just not gonna be the day for photos I just ask for as much notice as possible. I will do my best to reschedule. I am a Mom. I know how it is. If it's raining I will provide some make up day options. That being said we don't need a perfectly sunny day to make beautiful photos.
Can we keep our images private?
We retain the rights to all images however you will have the option to purchase the copyrights for a small fee of $200. As photographers it is essential to be able to use photos for marketing purposes. The copyright fee helps cover the cost for alternative marketing costs.
